Dr. West graduated from UC Berkeley in 1989 with a degree in Zoology and UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She completed a small animal internship at Purdue University in 1995 and a Radiology Residency at the University of Georgia at Athens in 1998. She has been board-certified as a veterinary radiologist since 1998 and has run a successful mobile ultrasound and teleradiology practice, West Radiologic Services, since 2000.
Dr. West currently lives in California with her husband Eric Kubly and her feline overlord, Squirrel. She is an EMT with her local volunteer fire department and she enjoys the ocean, reading, and traveling in her spare time.

Dr. Weder was born and raised in Michigan and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University in 2012. He then went on to complete a 1-year rotating internship at The Ohio State University and a 3-year residency in cardiology at Colorado State University. Dr. Weder earned his board certification in veterinary cardiology in 2016 and has since practiced in both Michigan and Colorado.
In 2020, Dr. Weder founded his own practice, Mid-Michigan Veterinary Cardiology, with the goal of delivering professional and compassionate care to the communities that mean the most to him. He also has his own telemedicine practice and regularly lectures to veterinarians in the Midwest region. Finally, Dr. Weder is adjunct faculty at Michigan State University and routinely hosts students and house officers at his practice. In his free time, Dr. Weder enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife, two children, and their family dog, Floyd. He has a passion for trail running and endurance sporting events. Dr. Weder is also the co-founder of the IRONDOG charity, which provides financial support for the advanced medical and surgical needs of pets hospitalized at Michigan State University.

Mark is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology.
Prior to veterinary medicine, Mark received his Bachelor in Science in systematics and ecology from the University of Kansas in 1990. He stayed on to complete a 4 year Master of Arts in Botany (physiological plant ecology) in 1994. Changing directions, Mark applied to and graduated from Kansas State University with a doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1998. Anecdotally, he was the only botanist to have ever been admitted to veterinary medical doctorate program, which turned out to be very helpful on farms calls dealing with unusual toxicities. He worked many years as a general practitioner, became head of the emergency department for the largest specialty hospital in South East Florida, and then did mobile ultrasound along the Atlantic coast before moving to Virginia. Mark completed a residency in clinical nutrition from Virginia Polytechnic University in 2006 and became a consultant to Fresh Pet and Rayne Clinical Nutrition. While practicing as a clinical nutritionist and mobile sonographer in Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland, and interim director for Sound Technologies, he was offered a residency in diagnostic imaging through Vital Rads and Texas A and M in 2016. Mark completed his residency in 2019 and became board certified in the same year.
Mark has written several publications in both botany and animal sciences. He has experience in all diagnostic modalities with a special interest in neuroimaging, echocardiography and abdominal ultrasounds.

Dr. O’Brien obtained his DVM from Ohio State University and completed his residency in radiology from the University of Pennsylvania. He was a major in the US Army and a veteran of the Gulf War. He was on faculty at the universities of Wisconsin, Kansas State, and Illinois throughout an active academic career. He has over 100 peer-reviewed published manuscripts. He is an international expert in contrast ultrasound and advanced CT imaging. He founded the International Veterinary Ultrasound Society. He was on the examination committee of the ACVR for 5 years.
He is currently the Director of Radiology for Epica International & Epica Medical Innovations and has continued to spread his influence as Head of Radiology for a newly founded company, Peregrine Radiology. He is most happy to have returned to Maine and enjoying the northern New England lifestyle running trails and climbing mountains.

Originally from Pittsburgh, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and his DVM from the University of Florida, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2020, where he also served as Vice President of the ACVIM student chapter and began publishing cardiology research, including work on intravenous pimobendan. He completed a rotating internship at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, contributing to multiple peer-reviewed projects such as studies evaluating body positioning effects on mobile ECG recordings, before advancing his specialty training at Sawgrass Veterinary Cardiology through a dedicated cardiology internship and a three-year residency under Dr. Dewey Carpenter. He achieved ACVIM board certification in cardiology in 2025 and brings a meticulous, evidence-driven approach to diagnosis and case management, with a strong emphasis on client education and transparent communication so owners feel confident in every decision. Outside the hospital, he spends his time boating, grilling, and cheering on the Gators and Steelers with friends and family.
